“Living for Love” is the first single off of Madonna’s forthcoming album titled “Rebel Heart”.
In the music video we get to see the dramatic visual sequence, which takes place on a stage in front of a blood red velvet curtain, that has the Pop Icon turn into a Matador as she is surrounded by a group of sexy men wearing masks to represent the bulls.
The music video was directed by Paris duo J.A.C.K. (Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen) and ends with a bold quote from German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, “Man is the cruelest animal. At tragedies, bullfights and crucifixions he has felt best on earth; and when he invented hell for himself that was his very heaven.”
We can, hopefully, expect to see Madonna perform her new single at the 57th Grammy Awards on Sunday the 8th February.
