New Farm Park had a make-over on Saturday, and it was fabulous!
The 2014 Brisbane Pride Festival Fair Day drew in over 3000 people yesterday to the well-kept grounds of New Farm Park. It was filled with a vast array of colourful stalls, live entertainment, delicious food, and a dedicated bar that were able to please the thousands of people who attended.
Both Lieutenant and I really loved chatting to people who attended the event and we really loved seeing the happy smiles that was on everyone’s faces! We got to chat to a few amazing community groups like the young kids from Open Doors, who are doing a great job in raising awareness for homeless LGBT youth in Brisbane, and the kids from QSpace who offer assistance for LGBT youth in the Gold Coast area.
We managed to take lots of photos of all you beautiful people and you can view the images in the gallery below. (Photos will be posted on our Facebook Page soon, so everyone will be able to tag themselves and their friends as they please)
We can’t wait for the next Brisbane Pride Festival Fair Day and hope to see you all there again! Happy Pride!
